Recently, SPC passed the review by NTPC and won the EPC Contract for Desulfurization of Anpara D Plant, which is located in Anpara of Uttar Pradesh. The awarded project covers the EPC for 2x500MW limestone wet desulfurization system. The winning price is about RMB 400 million. The construction schedules for Facility 1# and Facility 2# are 24 months and 27 months respectively. This is the first project on flue gas emission control within the state-owned power system of India awarded to a Chinese company, also the first project under which flue gas control technologies of Chinese independent intellectual property rights are adopted in India, undoubtedly a milestone for China’s environmental protection enterprises. 

  By winning the project, SPC will further enhance its influential power and competitive edge and make further breakthroughs in the international environmental protection field, marking the broad market development prospective and powerful international competitive edge of SPC, also marking a new chapter for SPC’s overseas development. Currently, SPC has performances of 8 projects in Brazil, Pakistan, Turkey and South Korea, all in successful progress of construction or operation. The Engineering Department of SPC is tracking about 120 overseas projects that are widely distributed across the world: India, Vietnam, Turkey, Bangladesh, South Korea and Poland. Regarding overseas certification, by right of core patent technologies with independent intellectual property rights, SPC has passed the examination and review of NTPC. In the future, with all risks under control, SPC will continue to expand its overseas business.

  Meanwhile, considering the trend of environmental protection in international maritime transportation, SPC has set up a joint venture together with its Germany counterpart in German for vessel environmental protection in 2018. The parties contributed their experiences in flue gas control and fuel oil purification, rapidly developed efficient and reliable vessel environmental protection solutions and won orders from the high-end vessel market. In the future, the joint venture will grow into an international vessel clean energy service provider with huge influential power, and SPC’s environmental protection business will step from the land to the sea. 

  As the early-stage founder of domestically developed coal-fired power generation flue gas control technologies and one of the first practisers of coal-fired power generation environmental protection against glue gas, SPC has gone global with its advanced technical and service systems. In the future, SPC will continuously develop its international business and depend on its advantages in technologies, experiences and performances as well as with its strong economic power and well-established brand reputation to improve its existence and industrial status in the international industrial flue gas control market and new business markets.
